Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the CN Tower website and purchasing tickets or services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Ticket Purchase and Use
General Terms
- All ticket sales are subject to availability
- Tickets are non-transferable
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes
- A valid ticket is required for admission to observation levels
- Children 2 and under receive complimentary admission
Timed Admission
All tickets feature timed admission. Your ticket is valid for entry within the specified time window (typically 30 minutes). Arriving outside your time slot may result in denied entry or extended wait times, subject to capacity.
Ticket Validity
- Tickets are valid only for the date and time specified
- Expired tickets will not be honored
- Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash
- Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced
Admission Requirements
Entry to the CN Tower requires:
- Valid ticket or confirmation
- Photo identification for all ticket holders
- Compliance with security screening procedures
- Agreement to follow all safety rules and staff instructions
Prohibited Items and Conduct
The following items are not permitted:
- Large bags and backpacks
- Tripods and selfie sticks
- Professional camera equipment (without prior approval)
- Drones
- Weapons of any kind
- Illegal substances
- Outside food and beverages
Prohibited Conduct:
- Disruptive or threatening behavior
- Climbing, sitting, or standing on railings
- Commercial photography without permission
- Unauthorized solicitation or distribution of materials
Health and Safety
Visitors must comply with all health and safety regulations. The CN Tower reserves the right to deny entry or remove any person who:
- Appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Poses a safety risk to themselves or others
- Fails to follow staff instructions
- Violates any terms or rules
Weather and Operational Changes
The CN Tower operates in all weather conditions. However, certain areas (outdoor observation deck, EdgeWalk) may close temporarily due to severe weather. Closures are made at management's discretion for safety reasons. No refunds or compensation are provided for weather-related closures or reduced visibility.
Photography and Recording
Personal photography and video recording are permitted for non-commercial use. Commercial filming or photography requires prior written permission. By visiting, you consent to being photographed or filmed as part of crowd scenes for CN Tower promotional purposes.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of CN Tower and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CN Tower shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your visit or use of our services. Visitors assume all risks associated with their visit.
Force Majeure
CN Tower is not liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, pandemics, or government actions.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
